About the Role:

The Injection Molding Technician plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by setting up, operating, and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. This position ensures that production runs efficiently, meeting both quality standards and production schedules. The technician will troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, perform routine maintenance, and make necessary adjustments to optimize machine performance. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating injection molding machines or similar manufacturing equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, work orders, and process instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification or training in injection molding or plastics manufacturing.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing injection molding equipment.
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems.
• Basic understanding of mold design and tooling.
• Ability to use computerized data entry and manufacturing software.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate injection molding machines according to production specifications and work orders.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality, making adjustments as needed to maintain standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal operation and prevent downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process issues to minimize production interruptions.
