Job Title: Agricultural Mechanic
Job Description

As an Agricultural Mechanic, you will complete repairs during the processing season to meet production goals. During non-production periods, you will overhaul and install plant equipment to be ready for the next scheduled production run. Additionally, you will operate farming equipment when maintenance is not required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain peas and corn harvest equipment and related equipment.
• Maintain cost control over equipment for budget purposes.
• Perform maintenance in other areas of the facility when needed.
• Ensure an even, constant, and sufficient flow of product of a quality that meets or exceeds company standards during harvest season.
• Foster positive employee relations.
• Ensure that GMP’s (General Manufacturing Practices), safety rules, and regulations are being followed and enforced.
• Collaborate with Area Supervisors to maintain production and quality.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Two-year college degree and/or equivalent mechanical/repair experience preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
