Job Summary:

We seek a knowledgeable, experienced working foreman to coordinate operations and oversee workers at our numerous construction sites. As the liaison between workers and supervisors, the working foreman will be the key person in charge of managing the completion of the project. The ideal applicant will have strong leadership skills and the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. The working foreman must be well-organized and strongly focused on safety above all and at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure that all safety rules are being followed at all times
• Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans
• Ability to delegate responsibilities to the crew
• Recruit, mentor, manage, and train employees
• Emphasis on the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment including training on personal protection equipment and procedures
• Develop and oversee quality standards on all sites
• Resolve conflicts or miscommunication that may happen on-site quickly and amicably
• Report project status to supervisor

Requirement and Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience as a foreman
• Pass drug test and background check
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA guidelines, equipment maintenance, and use
• Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints and convey this information to others
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate and report effectively
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to meet project deadlines
• Good physical condition and stamina

Based on knowledge and experience
