Job Summary

The Warehouse Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods between the warehouse, distribution centers, and customer locations. This role includes loading and unloading shipments, ensuring product accuracy, maintaining vehicle condition, and supporting warehouse operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles (e.g., box trucks, vans, or other delivery vehicles) to deliver and pick up goods according to schedule.
• Load and unload products using proper material handling equipment and techniques to avoid damage.
• Verify and inspect outgoing/incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and completeness.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules, adjusting as needed for traffic or weather conditions.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure regular servicing and inspections.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Assist warehouse team with inventory handling, order picking, and other related duties during downtime.
• Complete delivery logs, proof of delivery documents, and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery times and any issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (CDL may be required for larger vehicles).
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, warehouse driver, or similar role.
• Familiarity with GPS systems, mobile apps, and basic route planning.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to [insert weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs] safely.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
