About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Architect to define and implement the enterprise-wide architectural vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with and enables the business objectives and digital transformation initiatives. This VP-level role is pivotal in leading architectural oversight for major initiatives, including platform consolidation and technology solutions to enhance market share. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing architecture governance processes, evaluating emerging technologies, and providing technical leadership in strategic vendor solutions. A strong background in education technology, particularly with learning management systems, and experience in modern AI capabilities is essential. The Chief Architect will also be expected to partner with senior leadership to ensure that the technology stack is scalable, secure, and in line with business goals. Applicants for the Chief Architect position at the company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field, with at least 15 years of progressive experience in technology, including a minimum of 5 years in education technology. The role requires a deep understanding of learning management systems, cloud platforms, and modern development frameworks. Experience in leading teams of senior technical architects and a proven track record in enterprise-level architectural transformations are also necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. A passion for education technology and its potential to transform learning experiences at scale is a key attribute, along with the ability to balance innovation with standardization to create efficient, scalable technology solutions.
