Position Summary Sage Health seeks a dedicated Unarmed Physical Security Specialist to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Primary Responsibilities Patrol the exterior and interior of Sage Health centers to detect and deter threats. Monitor surveillance cameras, panic alarms, and alert authorities as needed. Respond to emergencies and participate in life safety exercises. Enforce company rules, policies, and procedures. Conduct security checks and inspections. Write detailed incident reports. Serve on the Emergency Preparedness & Response Team. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficient in conflict management and de-escalation. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques. Physically capable of demanding tasks (endurance, strength, agility). Military or law enforcement background a plus. Relevant certifications (First Aid, CPR, CCTV monitoring). Familiarity with surveillance and access control systems. Ability to commute to multiple centers regionally. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. At least 18 years old. US citizen or legal resident. Valid State security guard certification. Minimum 2 years security experience. Valid driver’s license. Ability to pass drug and background tests. Strong command of English. Availability for various shifts, including after-hours events. Reports To: Vice President, Strategic Initiatives Physical Requirements Hearing, standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing capacities as specified.
