Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct patient care focusing on Orthopaedic Hand conditions, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Supervision, instruction, and training of residents and medical/podiatry students in both clinical and surgical settings.
- Development and enhancement of the Orthopaedic Hand curriculum to ensure comprehensive education for trainees.
- Participation in outpatient clinics within Ambulatory settings, performing inpatient procedures, and conducting hospital rounds for Orthopaedic Hand patients.
- Provide timely and constructive evaluations for medical student and resident performances, as mandated by associated accrediting agencies.
- Engage actively in the academic functions of the department, including research initiatives, conferences, and community outreach.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
-Applicants must be MD/DO trained with board eligibility progressing to board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery; with fellowship training in Orthopaedic Hand Surgery progressing to a certificate of added qualification in Orthopaedic Hand Surgery.
-Must be currently licensed as a physician in the State of Illinois, or able to obtain a license in advance of starting the position.
- Board-certified or board-eligible with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS)
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and commitment to medical education.
- Academic rank and track will be based on the successful candidates experience and qualifications.

Compensation Information:
$300000.00 / annually - $450000.00 / annuallyDetails:
300K to $450K in addition to annual clinical incentive in the range of $0-$200K.
