Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student with visual impairments.
Provide specialized instruction in braille, orientation and mobility, assistive technology, and adaptive techniques to help students succeed.
Act as an advocate for students' needs within the school community, offering guidance and support to students and their families to navigate educational and community resources.
Track and assess student progress, ensuring that each child reaches their academic and personal goals.

Qualifications:

Master's degree or higher in Special Education, Visual Impairments, or a related field.
Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience preferred.
