We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is skilled in tax planning, financial reporting, and client service within the trust company industry. You will play a key role in managing financial activities, ensuring compliance, and guiding clients through complex tax processes.

Responsibilities:
• Educate family members on financial matters to ensure the preservation and transfer of values.
• Organize and facilitate family meetings to discuss financial planning and related topics.
• Provide consolidated reporting that covers transactions, account statuses, and household performance.
• Maintain a secure platform for sharing information, storing reports, and safeguarding personal documents.
• Prepare and file accurate income tax returns while adhering to tax regulations.
• Develop and execute strategic tax planning initiatives to optimize financial outcomes.
• Conduct financial planning and projections to assist clients in meeting their long-term goals.
• Handle bill payments and ensure timely processing for clients.
• Utilize accounting software systems to manage and track financial data efficiently.• At least 5 years of experience in tax preparation or a related financial role.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems such as CCH ProSystem Fx, Drake Tax Software, and ADP Financial Services.
• Strong knowledge of accounting functions, including allowances and deductibles.
• Ability to manage data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills to build and maintain client relationships.
• Familiarity with financial planning and projections.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Expertise in tax planning and compliance.
