Sr. Technical Program Manager, Amazon WW Promotions

Amazon WW Promotions is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager with an acute sense of ownership, with a passion for delivering Promotions Execution Services (PXS), core to worldwide events including Prime Day, and Black Friday Cyber Monday.
In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of PXS program initiatives including unified promotion architecture, launching and maintaining services that execute all promotions in Amazon, and driving stakeholder alignment on investments and business requirements related to this work. You will work closely with internal partners from different Amazon organizations including Pricing, Offers, Global Store and other teams.
The ideal candidate is a clear communicator (both written and verbal) and experienced planner, that has demonstrated the ability to drive cross-organizational strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, and knows how to get things done.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will manage the program for the planning and delivery of the customer experience for Amazon deals and other types of offers, promotions, and discounts in Amazon Retail. You will have the autonomy and responsibility to innovate on behalf of the Amazon customer, and deliver high quality products and features that delight Amazon shoppers. This role will require you to be able to communicate effectively with people at executive levels of multiple organizations. You will be responsible for a global program and will need to work with teams across multiple time zones.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
  • Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience in technical product or program management
  • Experience working directly with engineering teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
