SENIOR BEHAVIOR ANALYST

JOB HIGHLIGHTS

Role: Senior Behavior Analyst

Setting: the Springtime School - a small private school in Newtown, Bucks County

Student Population: under 30 children and adolescents K -12+ (ages 6 - 21) diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities

Employment Type: Full-Time (Exempt)

School Schedule: classes in session from 8:30 am - 3 pm

Extended School Year: 210 school days, paid in-service days, holidays, and school breaks

Potential Inc.'s Senior Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide oversight of behavior programs and staff to ensure the highly effective implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This role ensures the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, and supportive learning environment tailored to the needs of students with diverse learning abilities including Autism and other developmental disabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Must maintain credentials
• Master's degree or PhD completed in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field

Our ideal candidate has the following experience:

• 5 or more years of experience with assessing and treating severe problem behaviors
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing ABA services post-graduation
• 2 or more years of BCBA experience
• 2 - 3 or more years of managerial/supervisory experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent ABA, clinical, and communication skills
• Strong relationship management skills, customer service orientation, collaborative/team player attitude with all customers (colleagues, client families, and funding sources)
• Adaptability and flexibility with case, staff, and organizational transitions
