Title : Sr Quality Engineer Salary: $75,000-95,000 (Dependent on experience) Benefits: Full benefits package including: medical/dental/life/401k/paid time off Overview: In this role you will ensure the highest standards of quality for cutting-edge automated machinery. Job Responsibilities: Manage the Quality Department on the shop floor, overseeing a team of two inspectors Ensure quality standards are met across the entire roofing machine line Review and update existing quality processes and documentation Conduct comprehensive quality checks, including guarding, torque specifications, and alignment of components Perform root cause analysis when quality issues arise Oversee system-wide quality assurance rather than focusing on individual parts Analyze and interpret quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement Implement and maintain quality control systems and procedures Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall product quality Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Lead quality improvement initiatives and projects Requirements: ~ Bachelor's degree in engineering or other relevant field ~5+ years of experience in quality control of a system, machinery or equipment ~ Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control techniques ~ Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies ~ Excellent leadership and communication skills ~ Green Belt or Six Sigma certification (preferred)
