The Senior Accountant will perform detailed analysis of financial information, prepare invoices, and manage AR process, process documentation, technical accounting research and problem solving in addition to routine accounting work such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• AR process management – Including project invoicing, T&M billing, and AR payment application
• Prepare monthly reconciliations, journal entries and work on other aspects of the monthly, quarterly and yearly close process
• Design and prepare key daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual Revenue and Receivable reports
• Perform key internal controls for key accounts and related processes
• Perform technical accounting research and analysis as needed
• Assist in leading the testing and adoption of new IT/automation solutions of Revenue and Receivables processes
• Collaborate with the Acquisitions team in the due diligence of new acquisitions; including, leading the due diligence efforts on several acquisitions from the revenue and receivables perspective
• Provide support on ad-hoc projects as required
• Assist in the preparations of the annual budget and monthly forecast
• Assist in the preparation of Sarbanes-Oxley documentation, testing, and walkthrough for specified corporate processes
• Identify, write and maintain proper internal control procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Job Complexity:

Supervision Received and Exercised:

Normally receives little instruction on day-today work, general instructions on new assignments.

Experience and Education:

Minimum

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years in Accounting

Preferred

• Experience in Acumatica ERP Systems
• Project management experience
• MBA
• Experience in the Construction industry
• CPA or CMA Certification
