Job Description

We're seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team.

  • This role will be pivotal in analyzing business processes, defining requirements for new technology implementations and optimizing existing solutions and developing strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Experience implementing enterprise-level packaged financial and ERP packaged products like MS Dynamics 365 or NetSuite a must-have. Need to understand Order to Cash, and accounting processes such as inter-company transactions and internal chargebacks.
  • The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who is able to ask detailed questions at all levels of the organization and is adept at collaborating with and building great rapport with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

** Start Date: ASAP

** Duration: 6 -12 month W2 Contract with potential to extend and/or convert

** Location: local to Orange, CA; onsite 5 days/week

** Compensation: Starting at $68/hr W2 and above, depending on experience level

Responsibilities:

** Requirements Elicitation & Analysis:

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify, prioritize, analyze, and document business requirements for future technology solutions. This includes conducting interviews, workshops, and surveys.
  • Develop actionable implementation plans, including business cases, detailed requirements, gap analysis, change management plans, user training needs, and vendor fit analysis.

** Process Analysis & Improvement:

  • Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

** Develop process maps and documentation.

** Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to design and implement solutions that meet business needs and align with company goals and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the design, documentation, and maintenance of system processes for the support knowledge base.

** Technical Mapping Documents and functional designs:

  • Describe integration requirements and field mapping specifications to provide development teams insight into how systems might integrate to support business processes.

** Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform business decisions. - Ensure data integrity and protect sensitive information.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Report on common technical issues and questions, recommending solutions to the IT team.

** Testing, Validation, Training & Support:

  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve any issues.
  • Support technical implementation activities by defining and performing appropriate quality control processes related to testing, validation, and deployment.
  • Develop process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Assist with change management by providing training and support to end-users on procedures and best practices.

** Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in business processes and technology solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the business and technology landscape.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 7 -10 years of experience as an IT-focused Business Analyst or Project Manager.
  • Experience implementing large enterprise-level CRM, Business Intelligence, Property Management, or ERP systems -- MS Dynamics 365, NetSuite experience preferred.
  • A strong mix of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Inventory Management, Intercompany allocations & chargebacks, Shared Services Accounting experience required
  • Proven ability to elicit and document business requirements, including data integration needs, execution dependencies, and process documentation.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive, professional demeanor.
  • Innovative problem-solver with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities, and thrive in ambiguous situations.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Excel, SmartSheet, Lucid Chart, Miro).
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with personal accountability. Willingness to work side-by-side with super users across different business divisions.
