Job Details
Job Details:
Review and approve journal entries for accurate posting to the general ledger.
Prepare journal adjustments for the month-end close process.
Compile and analyze data from the general ledger to prepare both internal and external consolidated financial statements.
Review monthly account reconciliations for various Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts.
Analyze plant expenses and conduct qualitative reviews of variances, including comparisons to budget and prior year results.
Provide insights and answers to accounting and financial inquiries by researching and interpreting relevant data.
Support external auditors by preparing work papers and gathering necessary account information and documentation for the annual audit.
Independently conduct analyses or prepare reports to fulfill specific project requirements.
Oversee general accounting functions, including capital expenditures, payroll reconciliations, and job cost entries.
Requirements:
5+ years of similar experience, preferably out of construction / manufacturing
Public Accounting experience a plus
Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA preferred
