Now Hiring: Part-Time School Bus Drivers in Buffalo, NY!

As a Part-Time School Bus Driver at First Student, you will play a vital role in your community and impact the lives of the students you transport. You’ll be there to greet them at the start of their day and ensure they return home safely in the afternoon.

No experience as a bus driver? No problem! We’re proud to provide industry-leading training to help you succeed.

Your Day Will Include:

• A split shift with early morning before-school pickups and after-school drop-offs, plus a few free hours in between.
• A guaranteed shift of 4.5 hours per school day—no nights or weekends unless you choose to!
• Opportunities for additional hours through trips and charters when available.

School Bus Driver Benefits:

• Competitive wages ranging from $25.25 to $28.50 per hour!
• A $5,000 sign-on bonus for fully credentialed drivers*
• A $3,000 sign-on bonus for new drivers*
• A $200 bonus for obtaining your Commercial Learner's Permit*

• Have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.

This position is subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee. Please note that DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.

*Must obtain a Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) within 15 days of accepting the job offer.
