**Job Title** : Sanitation Worker

**Location** : Manassas, VA

**Pay** : $19.00 per hour

**Schedule** : Rotating 12-hour shifts (3 days on, 3 days off) | 6 AM 6 PM

**Description** :

Adecco is assisting a local company in Manassas, VA with hiring a **Sanitation Worker** . In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the production equipment and facility, ensuring they are kept in a clean and sanitary state. The ideal candidate will be familiar with standard sanitation practices, safety procedures, and will work both independently and as part of a team.

**Key Responsibilities** :

+ Perform day-to-day cleaning and sanitation of production equipment and facility following Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

+ Clean and sanitize production machinery, conveyor belts, walls, pipes, and other equipment.

+ Safely handle and use approved chemicals for cleaning.

+ Disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble food processing equipment.

+ Remove waste and recycling efficiently.

+ Sweep, mop, and maintain the cleanliness of the floors and facility exterior.

+ Document sanitation activities and verify cleaning effectiveness using ATP bioluminescence.

+ Troubleshoot and solve sanitation issues as they arise.

+ Ensure compliance with safety rules, HACCP, and the companys Food Safety and Quality Plans.

+ Complete all necessary training and other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications** :

+ Prior experience in sanitation or janitorial work is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in varying temperatures, including areas as low as -10F.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Reliable transportation is required.

**Pay Details:** $19.00 per hour
