We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in the Construction Materials industry. We manufacture steal and aggregate products. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in Outside Sales, B2B Sales. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role selling into contractors and/or home and commercial builders. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
2. Identify potential clients and the decision-makers within the construction industry.
3. Plan persuasive approaches and pitches to convince potential clients to do business with the company.
4. Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
5. Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
6. Develop a rapport with new clients and provide support that will continually improve the relationship.
7. Grow and retain existing clients by presenting new solutions and services to them.
8. Work with the team to develop proposals that address the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
9. Participate in pricing the solution/service.
10. Handle negotiations and close deals.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Outside Sales within the construction industry
2. Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
3. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
4. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
5. Strong business sense and industry expertise in the construction sector.
6. Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
7. Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
8. Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
9. Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
10. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
11. Excellent time management and organization skills.
12. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
