Position Summary

The Sales Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving sales performance across new, certified pre-owned, and used segments. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Set team and individual targets, monitor performance, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Oversee pricing, negotiation, and deal structure with sales consultants to optimize gross profit.
  • Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction at all touchpoints, resolving escalated issues promptly.
  • Manage showroom, inbound traffic, online leads, and digital sales channels.
  • Maintain ideal inventory mix, vehicle merchandising, and flow of new and used stock .
  • Collaborate with marketing and BDC to plan promotions, events, and tactics to grow showroom traffic and sales.
  • Use CRM and dealership systems (e.g. CDK, Elead, NetStar) to track prospects, pipeline, and conversions.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to refine strategies and improve performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Mercedes-Benz corporate policies, legal requirements, and brand standards.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent through hiring and training programs.
Qualifications
  • Experience : Minimum of 3–5 years as a Sales Manager or General Sales Manager at a luxury automotive dealership, preferably Mercedes-Benz or comparable brands (e.g., BMW, Audi, Lexus) (Valmar Dry Clean).
  • Skills : Strong leadership capabilities, financial acumen, and ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Knowledge : In-depth understanding of Mercedes-Benz products and the luxury vehicle market; experience with CRM and dealership systems.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Management, or equivalent preferred.
  • Other : Valid U.S. driver’s license; clean driving record; professional demeanor and polished appearance.
