CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities.

You will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing information technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet project objectives. In essence, your responsibilities will include managing project scope, resources, and timelines, as well as leading and motivating project teams.

This position is located in our Washington DC office

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Project Execution: Managing project activities, including task assignment, progress tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Resource Management: Allocating and managing project resources, such as personnel, budget, and equipment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicating project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members.
  • Budget Management: Creating and maintaining project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Team Leadership: Leading and motivating project teams, providing guidance, and ensuring team members are aligned with project goals.
  • Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

  • Experience: Shall possess a minimum 8 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Education: In addition, shall possess a Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or have Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 2 years of related senior experience, for a total of 10 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.
  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly
  • Required: IT program management experience (3 yrs.), Microsoft Office Suite, proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Highly Desired: PMP certification
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of IT infrastructure, software, and hardware.
  • Project Management Skills: Experience with project planning, execution, and control.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate project teams. May supervise others.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve project issues.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $115,800.00 - $222,960.00.
