Job Description The Production Manager, Events & Hospitality position will be responsible for managing NBC Sports client events and projects. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Event Management in planning, execution, and post‑event reconciliations. Manage NBC Sports & Olympics hospitality, tickets, and partner entertainment opportunities. Order and fulfill all event premiums. Manage vendor relationships including housing, catering, venue, and hotel. Coordinate with partner organizations and event personnel regarding event planning and transportation needs. Manage the event budget in coordination with Sports Leadership and Finance, ensuring all costs are accounted for and bills are paid. Execute and publish the event memo detailing event, housing, and transportation logistics. Book flights, rental cars, and hotel reservations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communications, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in event management. Proven understanding of the production process (start to finish) involved in Sports Television. Ability to work effectively with persons at all levels within the internal organization and with those outside of the organization. Desired Characteristics Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail. Flexibility with last‑minute assignments and assignment changes. Effective and quick problem‑solving ability in stressful and time‑sensitive situations. Eligibility Requirements Willingness to travel, work late, and across weekends, sometimes with short notice. Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. Must be 18 years or older. Additional Requirements This position is designated as hybrid. Currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week.
