Job Description

 

Our client is seeking a talented Plumber specializing in Swimming Pools and Spas to join their team. This position is located in Southampton, NY . Join their team and work on some of the most beautiful and luxurious pools built in the entire country. As a Plumber specializing in Swimming Pools and Spas, you will be an integral part of a team that strives for excellence. Your role involves assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and filtration systems on our complex swimming pools and spas. 

 

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using various methods and equipment.
  • Conduct pressure tests to detect and locate leaks.
  • Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to plan work details and procedures.
  • Study building plans and inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs and establish the sequence of pipe installations.
  • Perform complex calculations and planning for special or large-scale projects.
  • Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and necessary equipment using hand and power tools.
  • Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes and fittings.
  • Install schedule 40 PVC pipe ranging from 1’ to 10” diameter in different environments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and good working condition of the truck, ensuring it is fully loaded with necessary equipment and materials.
  • Core drill through concrete walls.

Skills & Abilities

  • Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Experience: Two+ years of related experience with upscale pools and spas. Basic knowledge of hydraulics is a plus. Working knowledge of 1-1/2 to 10” piping.
