Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara - Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

The newly hired BC/BE full-time Pediatric Physiatrist we seek will join three other full-time Pediatric Physiatrists in the region, and 7 Adult PM&R physicians at the Santa Clara facility. Regionally, there are about 100 PM&R physicians and dozens of pediatric subspecialists to collaborate with.

Active inpatient consultations are for the PICU, pediatric ward, and NICU. Opportunity for research can be pursued through the Kaiser Permanente Division of Research. Commonly treated conditions include cerebral palsy, TBI, SCI, stroke, developmental delay, gait impairment, limb deficiency and amputation, neuromuscular, spina bifida, neuro-oncology, and other musculoskeletal conditions. We also have multiple multidisciplinary clinics such as neuromuscular clinic locally, as well as spina bifida, spasticity, skeletal dysplasia, neurofibromatosis, and neuro-oncology clinics regionally. California Children's Services medical therapy units at school-based sites allow us to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of therapists, nursing, and social workers in the child's medical home setting and follow them longitudinally through young adulthood.

Unique opportunity to practice at a large and very collaborative multispecialty medical facility in the diverse Silicon Valley, with close proximity to major tech employers and driving distance to numerous beautiful outdoor locations such as Monterey/Carmel, Lake Tahoe, and the Napa Valley.

Full-time annual salary range is $300,719 to $310,020 plus additional potential incentives up to $16,190*. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
