Job Description

Randstad is currently recruiting for a Patient Support Representative for a client in the East End of Louisville. Pay will be $17/hour. Position is temporary to hire and starts immediately. The ideal candidate must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of experience in a customer-focused role, demonstrating a proven ability to consistently deliver high-quality service. Ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a specialized field such as pharmacy, managed care, Medicare/Medicaid, insurance, or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Experience with HIPAA and patient services is also an advantage. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with the ability to apply logical thinking and basic math principles to evaluate practical problems and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Hours Available: 8:00AM-4:30 PM 8:30AM-5:00PM 9:00AM-5:30PM 9:30AM-6:00PM 10:00AM-6:30 PM Prescreenings: Background check, drug screening, education check. Interested? Apply today!

Responsibilities

Patient and Provider Communication

  • Manage all pharmacy contact channels, handling both inbound and outbound phone lines.
  • Respond to and resolve inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and authorized representatives via phone calls, emails, and other requests
  • Prioritize and balance daily workload between inbound calls, email responses, and making necessary outbound calls (including following up on voicemails) in collaboration with team members.
Information Management and Compliance
  • Accurately and completely document all information and update relevant systems and records promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations when responding to program inquiries.
  • Report adverse events and product complaints according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and current good manufacturing practices (cGMP).
Problem Resolution and Workflow
  • Strive for First Call Resolution; when unable to resolve an issue immediately, triage or escalate the call appropriately to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Investigate and track complex issues that cannot be resolved immediately, following through until a complete resolution is reached.
  • Provide medication availability, tracking, and shipping information as requested.
