Job Description
Sun Valley Food warehouse is in Detroit with easy access to freeways and major streets. We have great people working here and have an opening for another great person who we can rely on to come in every day on time.
Order Selectors work in our food warehouse selecting cases of food products from storage locations and placing them on pallets. A pallet ticket is used to tell the selector where in the warehouse to find a product and how many cases to select. The order selector works in three temperature zones within the warehouse: dry, cooler, and freezer.
This is a physical job that requires walking throughout the day and lifting and stacking cases from 20 to 50 pounds.
Electric pallet jack operating experience is helpful, but we can train an operator if they know how to operate a car.
This is a full time job Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 4pm. Training will be from 8am to 5pm. After 90 day of full time employment, benefits include sick, vacation, and holiday pay. Medical insurance with vision and dental, Life Insurance, and a 401k retirement plan.
