Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized education and support to a caseload of 18 high school students with special education needs.
Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to ensure each student's success.
Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed.
Participate in virtual meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices.

Job Details:

Weekly Hours: 32.5+ hours per week
Contract Duration: Full academic year (2024/2025 school year)
Caseload: 18 high school students
Work Environment: Remote (Work from home)

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Special Education.
Valid Illinois Special Education Teaching Certification.
Strong technological skills (training on specific software tools will be provided).
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
