Job Title: Model Maker
Location: Lewisville, TX
Reports To: Model Maker Lead

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Model Maker to join our team in Lewisville, TX . This hands-on position requires proficiency in MIG welding, the ability to read engineered drawings, and a strong background in manufacturing. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• MIG weld components as needed for prototype and production builds

• Interpret and work from engineered drawings to fabricate models accurately

• Operate shop equipment including table saws and radial arm saws

• Assist with powder coating processes as needed (training available)

• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines

• Work overtime as required, including on short notice

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace

Required Qualifications:

• MIG welding experience and a personal, up-to-date welding helmet

• Ability to read and understand engineered drawings

• Proficiency with basic hand tools

• Experience using table saws and radial arm saws

• Prior manufacturing experience is required

• Strong initiative and the ability to work independently

• Reliable and consistent transportation to and from work

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes (e.g., powder coating)

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
