Looking to get a foot in the door in Medical Device Sales? We're growing and seeking a well-rounded, college graduate for an inside sales representative position on our Medical Device team. In this sales position, you’ll play a key role in enhancing patient outcomes by assisting our partner in providing information and education to Veterinary Surgeons regarding our comprehensive portfolio of Surgical Products and Devices. The role entails marketing wound closure, electrosurgical, and orthopedic trauma products to veterinary surgeons to increase our Vendors share of voice in the fast growing veterinary healthcare market.
Job Responsibilities:
The Inside Sales Representative will work in conjunction with the field sales organization, in a 1:1 partnership with their own territory field sales representative. Job responsibilities include all aspects of sales to General Practice and Specialty Surgery facilities. Specific functions include prospecting, account profiling, pipeline creation, coordinating education calls, collaborative engagement of field sales representatives, post-sales account management, and ultimate customer satisfaction and loyalty.
· The role includes reaching out to existing customers to gain insight into other needs and opportunities; educating them on the other products and devices in our portfolio that we support to them
· Following up with inbound leads from vendor sponsored promotions and events; communicating the benefits of our products and driving evaluations and sales
· Targeting non user accounts and presenting product information to convert competitive business; drive evaluations and sales
· Assisting customers with product repairs, returns, payment/ credit questions and other facets of account management
· Accurately respond to inbound questions related to products and services; assist with providing clinical information and product pricing
· Identify, collect, and communicate insights related to competitor information and Surgeon product utilization and practice trends.
· Document interactions and activities in appropriate databases
Skills required:
· College degree – BA/BS
· Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills. (Must have strong phone presence with a positive, outgoing personality)
· Multitasking: The ability to simultaneously manage & move forward multiple sales opportunities through the sales cycle.
· Sales Effectiveness: The ability to find, develop & close sales opportunities.
· Business Acumen: The ability to understand & add value to the customer’s business model.
· Adaptive: The ability to modify sales strategy & tactics to adjust to the changes in competitive & economic market conditions.
One to two years of previous sales experience is preferred. Background in, and/or understanding of medical sales is a plus; however, we will train the right candidate.
