Job Overview: As a core team member of the Marketing Consulting team, the Marketing Consultant provides support to enhance the marketing efforts of financial advisors and institutions. They are a resource for questions and insights, available via email and for scheduled one-on-one consultations. Consultations provide our clients with strategic guidance and recommendations to help them achieve their marketing goals and raise awareness of our LPL Marketing Solutions. In addition, the Marketing Consultant is a skilled presenter, delivering compelling and informative sessions on a wide array of marketing topics. The ideal candidate for this role is adept at addressing both small and large groups and equally effective in virtual and in-person settings. The ability to connect with a diverse audience ensures that complex marketing concepts are communicated in a way that is relatable and actionable. This role will join the Business Strategy and Innovation (BSI) team where we unite strategy, experience, and innovation to enhance the overall client experience for advisors, large enterprises, and institutions. BSI plays a critical role in everything from setting and executing on our firms strategic direction to developing and delivering powerful business services that help our clients succeed. With the goal of enhancing our clients day to day experience in everything we do, we seek to proactively identify and address our clients' most significant challenges. Together, the BSI team works to establish LPL as the model of choice in Wealth Management. Responsibilities: Provide an industry-leading, best-in-class experience to our clients, fully answering their questions and addressing their needs in a timely manner Provide tailored advice via one-on-one consultations with our clients Act as an expert in all LPL marketing tools and resources available to advisors and institutions Introduce advisors to LPLs marketing products and solutions Develop and deliver marketing education in the form of webinars and in-person presentations Provide guidance on approved third-party tools and resources available to support advisors marketing efforts Source content and/or information from within LPL to ensure that all questions are answered correctly and efficiently within 24 hours Present direct feedback from advisors and work with manager on actionable solutions Provide demos of marketing tools and resources Attend industry and LPL Financial conferences, as needed Track and report on key performance indicators Work on special marketing projects as needed What are we looking for? Requirements: 2+ years hands-on marketing experience required Knowledge of digital marketing and social media best practices required Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office required (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) Core Competencies: A self-starter, proactive with a positive, growth-oriented mindset Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and project management skills Experienced collaborator, strong attention to detail, independent and critical decision maker Resourceful with the ability to work autonomously but also contribute and work well on teams, collaborative, enthusiastic and positive attitude Works well in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment Preferences: Experience in financial services preferred Video content creation and editing a plus Experience with financial services compliance a plus Experience working with marketing technology platforms a plus Pay Range: $60,188-$100,313/year Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
