Job Summary Intuit Dome is looking for a full-time
Arena Tour Manager who will create and develop a program offering guests and visitors the opportunity for private, public and educational tours of the arena. The Tour Manager will collaborate with various internal departments to provide a high quality and memorable experience for our visitors and guests. Intuit Dome, home of the LA Clippers and LA's newest landmark for live concerts and events opened in August 2024. The technologically advanced and basketball-obsessed arena and entertainment venue delivers a uniquely intimate and intense experience that will redefine what it means to be the best arena in the world.
This is a full-time role based in Inglewood, CA and is eligible for our competitive benefit offering including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with company contribution, Well-Being Allowance, and more. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games.
What You Will Do What you'll do: - Create a customized engaging guest tour experience through scripted/unscripted storytelling using the key principles of the company and arena.
- Assist in cultivating tour scripts that will tell the story of the Los Angeles Clippers and Intuit Dome.
- Determine the best manner in which to offer tours to maximize visibility and satisfaction.
- Deliver excellent service while responding to phone inquiries, coordinating tour reservations, and executing other special requests and accommodations.
- Oversees recruitment and training of the tour guides. Provides direction and guidance to the team while encouraging the team to attain high level of service.
- Conduct Intuit Dome Tours as needed
- Assist in the preparation and management of the department's annual budget.
- Collaborate with the tech, marketing and social media teams on a campaign introducing the tours to the public.
- Work with the Operations teams to ensure the safety of the guest and security of the venue.
- Research current trends in guest engagement by networking with peers and gathering information.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for the tour department.
Your Background, Skills and Qualifications - Minimum five (5) years experience in customer service and/or hospitality.
- Strong public speaking and communication skills required with a focus on customer service
- Recommended background would include, but not limited to, previous employment as a Tour Guide or experience in the theater, performing arts, or communications.
- Must possess excellent memorization and time management skills with the ability to articulate and inject energy and enthusiasm into presentation
- Minimum high school diploma or GED, some college or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience writing and editing text for a general audience.
- Proven experience leading and supervising a team and projects.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and reprioritize as business requires.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Demonstrate strong people skills, a passion for our building and ability to create memorable experiences
About Intuit Dome: Intuit Dome is the new home of the LA Clippers and will host hundreds of sporting events and concerts each year. Located in Inglewood, Calif., Intuit Dome is built differentit will redefine fans' expectations for live experiences and change the music landscape in Los Angeles.
Set to host the 2026 NBA All-Star game, Intuit Dome is over 1 million square feet and features our team training center, business operations offices, five full-sized basketball courts, an 80,000 square foot outdoor plaza and a double-sided Halo Board composed of more than an acre of LED.
Compensation - The range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000 annual compensation. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
