Loss Prevention Investigator

Travel Requirements: 80%

Salaried: $85,000 - $110,000

What Will You Do?

The Loss Prevention Investigator will implement loss prevention procedures and plans to safeguard company assets, prevent and minimize theft, and reduce shortages and fraud. This is a regional position that will require travel at moment’s notice to support our retail chain of distribution centers and stores.

  • Takes responsibility for a wide range of duties related to the investigation and elimination of fraud, theft, or misconduct.
  • Directs communications with customers, financial institutions, and various law enforcement agencies during investigative processes.
  • Partners with DC and RDC leaders to review metrics and reports to foster a proactive loss prevention culture.
  • Identifies and communicates detected fraud trends, suspicious transaction characteristics and patters, and takes appropriate action to identify and minimize the risk posed.
  • Conducts periodic inspections of stores and facilities to ensure surveillance and security equipment is functioning properly.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures to prevent theft at point of sale or inventory storage areas.
  • Prepares reports on effectiveness of established prevention measures.
  • Researches, suggests, and implements additional security measures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality.

What Do You Need?

·High School Diploma/GED, Required

·7 years’ of Loss Prevention experience, Required

·Wicklander-Zulawski certification, Required
