Soliant Health is seeking an Interim Inpatient Pharmacy Operations Manager for a hospital in Naples, FL. This leadership role will oversee daily pharmacy operations while the facility completes a permanent hire search.
Position Details:
Location: Naples, FL
Setting: Inpatient hospital pharmacy
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 am 4:30 pm
Duration: 3+ months, until permanent hire is made
On-call/Weekend: No weekends, no on-call coverage required
Staff Size: ~22 pharmacists and 32 technicians
Systems: Epic (required), Omnicell (experience not required)
Nearest Airport: RSW (Southwest Florida International Airport)
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure efficient pharmacy workflows
Supervise scheduling, staff accountability, and performance coaching
Monitor regulatory compliance and participate in regulatory oversight
Attend leadership/department meetings as required
Assist with drug diversion investigation as needed
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure safe and effective patient care
Requirements:
Active and clear Florida Pharmacist license (required)
Minimum 5 years of pharmacist experience (required)
At least 2 years of management experience (required)
Strong delegation, communication, and leadership skills
Familiarity with Epic order entry system (required)
Ability to effectively manage large pharmacy teams and workflows
