Job Overview
We are a fast-growing immigration law firm seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Immigration Intake Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for potential clients and will play a crucial role in managing the intake process. You will assist with gathering client information, assessing their immigration needs, and ensuring a smooth transition to the legal team for further action.

Responsibilities:

Client Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients seeking immigration assistance via phone, email, and in-person.
Intake Process: Collect and review intake forms, personal and family background information, and any relevant documentation.

Screening and Assessment: Conduct initial screenings to assess eligibility for various immigration programs and determine the best course of action.

Case Management: Maintain accurate records in the case management system and track the progress of client intake through each stage.

Scheduling: Coordinate consultations between clients and attorneys, ensuring that clients receive timely updates on their cases.

Documentation: Ensure that all client intake documents are complete, accurate, and stored in compliance with firm policies.

Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality and privacy of sensitive client information at all times.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients by addressing questions, concerns, and providing guidance on next steps.

Requirements:

Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably in an immigration law firm or legal environment.
Knowledge: Familiarity with U.S. immigration law and procedures is a plus but not required. Willingness to learn is essential.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is highly preferred.

Attention to Detail: Ability to review documents and client information for accuracy and completeness.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite) and case management systems (e.g., Clio, LawLogix).

Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in an immigration law firm or legal intake role.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
Knowledge of various immigration processes such as family-based petitions, naturalization, asylum, and deportation defense.
