Work directly with the founders and senior management to define goals for the engineering organization and make sure they are aligned with company objectives. Partner with other departments and stakeholders to define long-term goals, roadmaps, and timelines. Establish and implement best practices for a remote-first engineering team to produce impeccable results. Be actively involved in making decisions around the team's development process. Mentor and guide engineering team leads, infusing new strategies and methodologies. Have end-to-end ownership of product features and guide product-related decisions. Craft a caring and excellent culture throughout the team. Help build us a product that our users genuinely love! Director/VP of Engineering Requirements: A minimum of 10+ years of technical experience, with recent experience in a senior leadership role. Extensive experience in building, guiding, and managing engineering teams. Track record of designing and architecting scalable, complex systems.
