The Candidate

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee and optimize the operational performance of our residential property(ies). The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in hospitality, driving operational efficiency, and fostering strong relationships with tenants, staff, and vendors.

Operational Excellence:

• Develop and implement effective operational strategies to maximize property performance and tenant satisfaction
• Oversee daily operations, including maintenance, leasing, and property inspections
• Ensure compliance with all relevant leasing regulations, industry standards, and company policies
• Oversee all aspects of the resident life cycle, from move-in to move-out
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely resolutions
• Identify cost-saving opportunities with our existing vendors
• Monitor expenses to ensure profitability
• Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants
• Address tenant concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Responsible for all Insperity functions to include payroll, PTO, and vacation requests
• Oversee work and programming schedules for all properties
• Ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner
• Complete Security Deposit Administration and Write Off Management
• Conduct regular inspections of property(ies) to identify and address any maintenance issues promptly

Candidate Qualifications and Experience:

• 5 years working in Hospitality in a leadership role
• Working knowledge of local and federal laws including Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
• A professional and polished personal presence necessary, exhibiting discretion and integrity
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Willingness to work long hours and weekends when necessary
• Local Southern California Candidates Preferred
