Job Description
We are a boutique private optometry practice, conveniently located just 5 minutes off of Hwy 85 on Blossom Hill Rd. We have an opening for a full-time receptionist/optometric assistant position with 4-5 days/week (Monday& Wednesday 10-7, Thursday 9-6, Friday 9-6, and Saturday 9-5). We are looking for a bright, outgoing, professional, fast learner, positive, and motivated person to come join our team.
Job Description:
•Electronic submission for vision insurance claims.
•Frame adjustments for patients of both metal and zyl materials: manually or using our hot air warmer.
•Perform Contact lens insertion and removal training for new wearers (or willing to learn how to do so if no experience)
•Ability to useor willing to be trained on all equipmentand instrumentation used for the daily operation of the business.
•Have a working knowledge of VSP and Eyemed or similar insurance authorizations to properly review benefits with patients
•Booking appointments, checking in and pre-testing patients.
•Other admin tasks as needed.
MUST be able to speak English/ Spanish is a BIG plus!
Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the new candidate.
Compensation: Commensurate to experience as described with a bonus structure, paid major holidays and paid sick days, and retirement plan.
