  • Prepare strategic and detailed briefings for meetings and visits with prospects and donors that involve the university's President, the Provost, the Deans of MTSM and JHCSLA, and/or the Vice President for Development & Alumni Relations.
  • Establish and promote positive, mutually beneficial relationships between prospects/donors and the university.
  • Work closely with the Deans of JHCSLA and MTSM to ensure their strategic involvement in advancement activities, with a particular focus on the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of the Deans' "Top 25" prospect list.
  • Work with the Deans of JHCSLA and MTSM to strategically support the meetings and advancement activities of the colleges' advisory boards. Attend all JHCSLA Board of Visitors and MTSM Board of Advisors meetings and provide periodic reports on advancement, fundraising activities, and future events.

  • Consult with colleagues within the Development & Alumni Relations office, in the Jordan Hu College of Science & Liberal Arts and the Martin Tuchman School of Management, and across NJIT to identify institutional needs and priorities, to formulate proposal strategies and proposals, and to identify potential donors.
  • Serve as the Development & Alumni Relations office's primary liaison to the Jordan Hu College of Science & Liberal Arts and the Martin Tuchman School of Management on all issues related to constituent engagement, fundraising, and donor events.
  • Actively maintain a current body of knowledge about NJIT's mission, programs, aspirations, needs, and priorities, with a special focus on those of the Martin Tuchman School of Management and the Jordan Hu College of Science & Liberal Arts.
