Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Entry-Level Public Affairs Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will support public relations, marketing, and community engagement efforts, playing a key role in shaping and promoting the Mechanical One brand . This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth and career development.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of public relations and marketing campaigns.
• Conduct research to support public affairs initiatives and media outreach.
• Assist in writing press releases, media kits, and other marketing materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with local media outlets and community organizations.
• Monitor media coverage and analyze public sentiment.
• Support event planning, coordination, and logistics, including weekend and after-hours events.
• Assist with social media content creation and engagement.
• Provide administrative support to the public affairs team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for public relations, community engagement, and brand development.
