Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a dedicated Data Maintenance Technician that will work alongside the GIS team to support Information Management initiatives.

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Apply principles of engineering, drafting, designing, and mathematics techniques.
• Enter, transfer, extract, and analyze to verify the accuracy of the data.
• Retrieve data from multiple databases to determine or correct sources of data inconsistencies or for report generation.
• Review and analyze information on sewer facilities surveyed.
• Create and update assets in AutoCAD 2D Mapping Enterprise (AME).
• Create documents or reports using Microsoft Office.
• Research pertinent information for data entry purposes.
• Maintain document management standards, custom attributes, and document classes.
• Assist users and customers regarding the data and processes used in the various electronic formats.

Ability to:

• Capture, maintain, and update data.
• Operate specialized data management applications.
• Read, understand, and interpret engineering plans, schematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) documents, and related documents.

Must-Haves:

• Knowledge of procedures, methods, and equipment, including computers and applicable software applications (Word, Excel, and databases)
• 6+ months experience drafting in current versions of AutoCAD (training or school experience acceptable)
• Hardworking individual with a strong attention to detail that works well in a team environment

Compensation: $20.14-24.51/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
