Work directly with football team and coaches. Provide current evidence based nutritional counseling and education services to student athletes. Develop nutrition education/intervention and sports nutrition programs. Plan, develop, implement, track, evaluate and manage nutrition services provided to student athletes. Candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends when varsity teams are training, practicing and competing. This position may require occasional travel with sports teams. Work with Cowboy Dining the athletic department dining hall. Supervise Assistant Performance Dietitians on staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Nutritional Science. Four years of experience in nutritional counseling. Registered Dietitian; Licensed as a Dietician in Oklahoma or upon hiring complete the requirement. Sports Nutrition Certification Sexual Harassment Training, Minor's Training, CPR and AED Certification to be completed within 90 days of hire. Interpersonal skills necessary to interview, hire, supervise and evaluate instructors and trainers. Exhibit proficiency in mentoring and training staff. Experience with one-on-one nutrition counseling and menu planning. Ability to develop, implement and evaluate new and innovative programs and services. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications: Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD)
