Job Description DevOps Solution Lead/Architect (AWS) Contract: W2 Duration: 12 months, with possible extension Location: Plano, TX - On-site Who we are: Collaborative. Respectful. What we’re looking for: 5-10 years' experience in Information Technology, 2-3+ years in an Architecture environment Mastery in one of the SecDevOps practices – IaC-Terraform, SONAR, Git-CI Cloud-AWS, CICD-Git/Argo, microservices architecture deployment (primarily Kubernetes), with awareness of site reliability engineering principles, and a willingness to learn and expand knowledge. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology Experience with source control and continuous integration tools Strong analytical and reasoning skills Hands-on experience with AWS services – IAM, VPC, EKS, CloudFront, APIGW Ability to work in fast-paced teams with quick decision-making Scripting experience with Bash/Shell, Python Experience in IaC - Terraform is essential Knowledge of CI tools like Gitlab CI and CD tools like Argo CD Kubernetes debugging experience What you’ll be doing: Collaborate with team members, mentor, and contribute to security disciplines to reduce business risk. Troubleshoot issues and debug codebases related to connected vehicle technology for mobility and telematics. Deploy, automate, manage, and maintain AWS cloud-based production systems. Adopt new technologies, tools, and processes as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and work collaboratively. Maintain and improve existing codebases and perform peer reviews. Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS systems. Manage creation, release, and configuration of production environments. Troubleshoot systems and resolve issues across applications and platforms. Review code and technical approaches to meet functional and non-functional requirements. Guide and mentor technical teams, promote high-quality design/implementation, reuse of patterns, and improve code quality. Support high-quality software delivery through testing guidance, performance tuning, and profiling. Define and communicate technical and operational solutions, translating complex topics for business understanding. Prepare technical documents, artifacts, and presentations. Qualifications / Top Skills: Mastery in SecDevOps practices – IaC-Terraform, Cloud-AWS, CICD-Git/Argo, Kubernetes, with SRE awareness and eagerness to learn. Accountability in project delivery using Agile/JIRA practices. Partner with application teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices for microservices in cloud environments. Guide technical leads on component and process flow diagrams and assist with performance, scalability, and reliability planning. Additional skills (Nice to have): Expertise in AWS services (ECS, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.), IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Argo CD), Secrets Management, Networking, Scripting, Build Tools, Databases, Security Scans, Logging/Monitoring, and knowledge of authentication/authorization standards and frameworks. #J-18808-Ljbffr ZipRecruiter
