Overview StudioBinder is looking for a full-time Content Copywriter. StudioBinder is a software company located in Santa Monica, providing a project management solution for producers, filmmakers, and video creatives to plan and execute productions. This role is remote and freelance, with potential for full-time in the Santa Monica office for selected freelancers. All writers begin as remote contributors. At least 3 years of professional copywriting experience Proficient in Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, etc.) Passionate about copywriting and teaching If hired full-time, lives in Santa Monica (or nearby) Follows filmmaking news, blogs and channels like Every Frame a Painting, Nerdwriter, John August, ScriptNotes, etc. Comfortable writing content about video production and filmmaking Describes themselves as creative, detail-oriented, a stickler for grammar, etc. Typical workday (full-time) Note: This section describes a typical morning workflow within StudioBinder’s Content and Editorial team, including stand-ups, outlining, writing, internal linking, and coordinating with editors.
