Job Summary:

Promote products and services for The Difference through excellent customer service. Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge. This position works 4-5 days/week & requires Saturday availability 9:45am-4:15pm.

Essential Functions:

A. Create a welcoming environment for clients and shoppers.

B. Foster positive energy and teamwork with staff members.

C. Take interest in our business model and use active selling techniques to help clients and shoppers purchase items from clothing to makeup to accessories.

D. Thoughtfully select merchandise for customers to create a personalized experience.

E. Use POC register to accurately process purchases for customers.

F. Resolve errors/issues for shoppers.

G. Maintain displays and the aesthetics of the store.

H. Assist with store events as support for walk-in traffic.

I. Perform opening and closing duties for walk-in days.

J. Keep dressing areas tidy.

K. Assist with quality control, inventory management and merchandising.

Required Skills/Abilities:

A. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

B. Self-starter with the ability to take initiative, and work collaboratively as well as independently.

C. Able to multi-task and manage changing priorities.

D. Highly organized with great attention to detail and time management.

E. Read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.

F. Ability to use critical thinking and provide effective solutions.

G. Work effectively under pressure in dynamic situations while maintaining a positive attitude.

Education and/or Experience:

A. High school diploma or equivalent.

B. Minimum 2 years clothing retail experience preferred.
