_Our client that specializes in chemical and ingredient distribution and provides services to customers across a wide range of industries such as paints, coatings, & lubricating fluids is looking for a Waste Management Tech to assist with disposals and shipments of hazardous waste materials._
+ **Pay:** 19-20/hr.
+ **Schedule:** 1 st shift, 7am-4pm
+ **Terms:** Contract to Hire
**What you will be doing:**
+ Coordinate the pickup, transport, loading, and unloading of customer waste using forklifts and other necessary equipment on-site.
+ Prepare hazardous waste shipments for off-site recycling or disposal.
+ Must consistently work safely, striving for zero incidents or accidents.
+ Understand and comply with all rules and regulations specific to the customer site, as well as company policies and guidelines.
+ Responsible for preparing and verifying the accuracy of all paperwork associated with hazardous waste shipping.
**What you bring to the company:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Experience with hazardous waste disposal
+ DOT, OSHA, OR EPA regulations
+ Comfortable with heavy lifting
+ Ability to pass physical test and drug screen.
+ May require the use of safety equipment and precautions, Daily exposure to fumes, dirt, noise, and hazardous chemicals.
