About the Role
The Company is seeking a Career Coach to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-on-one career advisement to students and alumni, maintaining a database of job opportunities, and developing relationships with potential employers to enhance job placement for students. The role also involves building and maintaining faculty relationships, conducting professional development workshops, and monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of career services. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience, a strong background in coaching or counseling, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population. Proficiency in technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across organizational boundaries are essential. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master's degree or professional certification is preferred. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in coaching or counseling, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff, and employers. Experience in a diverse workforce population and proficiency in technology, including the Microsoft Office Suite, are also necessary. The successful candidate will be expected to work weekends and evenings and should have a strong working knowledge of best practices in the field. Bilingual candidates are a plus.
