Campus Recruitment Partner
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Location: El Paso, TX
Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000, Quarterly team bonus structure
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a dynamic and outgoing Campus Recruitment Partner for our client’s El Paso market. This is a full-desk recruiter role, requiring a combination of requisition management and proactive campus recruitment efforts. The position is 100% onsite at the client’s office, located in El Paso, Texas. The Campus Recruitment Partner will be responsible for leading the recruitment of current students and new graduates entering the healthcare workforce. This includes partnering with nursing leadership to meet new graduate workforce goals and ensuring a steady pipeline of talent through active engagement with local nursing schools. This role requires a highly visible and proactive individual who is comfortable interacting with executives and speaking to large groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Management: Carry a requisition load of 60-80 positions, with a focus on recruiting new graduate Registered Nurses and other clinical roles.
Presentations and Outreach: Lead campus recruitment efforts by delivering presentations to students, attending career fairs, and building relationships with partner schools to create a robust pipeline of new graduate talent.
Event Participation: Represent the client at recruitment events and other field activities 2-3 times per week, in addition to working in-office.
Stakeholder Communication: Partner with local executives and nursing leadership to develop and execute campus recruitment strategies. Provide regular reporting and analysis on recruitment efforts and outcomes.
Relationship Building: Foster deep connections with partner nursing schools and educational institutions to promote the client’s training programs and career opportunities for new graduates.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of healthcare recruitment experience; RN recruitment is a strong plus.
Skills:
Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, including engaging with executives (e.g., CEOs, CNOs).
Outgoing, friendly, and approachable personality.
Background: Campus recruitment experience is preferred; healthcare or clinical recruitment experience is required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Requirements:
Must be located in El Paso, Texas.
Must have a bubbly, outgoing personality and be comfortable speaking to groups and strangers.
Ability to build rapport with executives and act as a visible representative of the recruitment team.
