Auto Body Certified Mechanic – $65,000 - $72,000 + Commission & Sign-On Bonus

Located in the heart of Gaithersburg, MD , Car Source Collision Center is a leader in body work, service, and detailing — known for fast, professional, and high-quality auto repair. Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive diagnostics and repair. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the safe operation of vehicles. The role will have you working with our head Mechanic. The Automotive Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing hand tools and equipment to deliver high-quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform all types of mechanical repairs on domestic and foreign vehicles
• Mount/balance tires and perform alignment checks
• Diagnose, repair, and calibrate systems including ADAS
• Run diagnostics on complex electrical systems and harnesses
• Use factory software such as ODIS , ISTA, and others
• Handle advanced vehicle coding and programming
• Provide accurate repair estimates and documentation
• Work independently on high-end manufacturer-recommended repairs
• Communicate effectively with estimators and insurance reps

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in mechanical and diagnostic work
• ASE Certified
• Strong knowledge of factory diagnostic software (ODIS, ISTA, etc.)
• High-level calibration/ADAS experience
• Skilled in advanced coding and module programming
• Proficient in harness repair and diagnostics
• Excellent time management and teamwork skills
