Apparel Product Designer - NIKE, Inc. - Beaverton , OR. Partner with the Graphic Design, Color Design, Development, and Product Management teams, and bring to life the seasonal creative direction through Special Projects Apparel Design and innovations; lead the design product processes to ensure design deliverables and timelines are met; collaborate with Design Leadership and team members in Design, Graphics, Development and Merchandising to meet price points, merchandising needs and product creation timelines; oversee concept explorations and provide prototype sampling information including fabrication, trim, color, graphic applications, style, detail, fit requirements and construction detail; monitor the development of prototype samples and interact with our Development, Pattern Making, Material, and the Sample Room to exchange ideas and ensure timely completion of each project; maintain and expand upon expert knowledge of current trends, color, and consumer-related products through market travel and research; provide mentorship and leadership to other designers and team members by sharing knowledge, experience, skills and best practices with others; drive the category creative direction through apparel design and innovations that are trend relevant to the consumer; and concept and create seasonal collections and work with manufacturers while working directly with athletes and collaborators to achieve high quality products.
