Administrative Assistant for Growing Non-Profit
Growing patient advocacy non-profit seeks a motivated Administrative Assistant to help expand our mission-driven organization. Work in a positive environment knowing that you are changing lives every day!
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Administrative Assistant (AA) provides office support in a one-on-one working relationship. The AA tracks and order supplies, manages shipping, and manages the CEOs schedule. The AA assists the CEO with a high volume of correspondence. The AA also oversees special projects from time to time and communicates with the Board of Directors and other organizational leaders. The AA must be a creative problem solver and detail-oriented. The AA must demonstrate the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities. The AA must have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times, handling a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED SKILLS
Hours & Location: Full-time 9am-5pm at our office in Westhampton, NY, with the option to work from home 3-4 days per week. Most of our staff work from home 3-4 days per week. Our Westhampton office is in a beautiful, bright, sunny, new construction building in a safe neighborhood.
Salary: $50,000-$55,000
Benefits: Three weeks of paid vacation per year, paid sick time, paid holidays, $50/month stipend for home office supplies. We do not offer direct medical benefits, but we can provide pre-tax reimbursement of an employee's personal or dependent medical insurance plan expenses.
